How Do You Want To Spend Your Life?

“As for the future, your task is not to foresee it, but to enable it.”

Our Impact

Here at The Guardian Group we strive to embody the giving spirit. Investing in our community is at our core. We hope that in doing so we create a lasting impact on those around us and the world.

The stories we are sharing below are personal. We have been led to support and volunteer with each because of our individual experiences. It has been an exciting journey to share our passions and get involved in one another’s missions. It’s an exhilarating feeling to see our clients participate, not only willingly, but out of excitement. We have had the joy of seeing our clients invest resources and time, share these causes with their children and families, and overall give power to these causes to create greater impact.

For the people who share these same feelings, we hope that you’ll find excitement and fulfillment in the opportunities you have to unite with people in our family when supporting a cause that matters to you.

Our personal time as a family is spent cheering our children on at football and basketball games, as well as doing our best to stay active. Our family is also bilingual in Spanish, and in 2007, my wife and I founded a school in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, “The Volcanes Community Education Project". We help educate the children of the community in English, math, computer skills, and the arts. At our school, we currently have over 500 full-time students and have a band, choir, circus, and dance team. We hope we are able to enrich the lives of these children and provide them with unlimited opportunities for their future.

Latina Safe House works to provide bilingual and culturally sensitive services to Latinx survivors of domestic violence and their families. Their goal is to help survivors navigate community resources, feel safe and secure, and most importantly heal and thrive. LSH has two main programs - Comadres Unidas y La Fuerza de La Mujer - community navigation and advocacy.

The mission of Latina Safe House is important to Guardian because of our own cultural backgrounds as well as the communities we serve.

Field of Hope strives to develop agricultural knowledge and enthusiasm among youth and smallholder farmers to develop communities to be both nutritionally food secure and economically empowered. They are a Christian non-profit dedicated to agricultural education and extension. Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda, India, and other developing countries across the globe, yet most involved in agriculture have received a low-quality education about the processes and materials required to produce enough food for themselves and their families.

Field of Hope works with local teachers, farmers, and students in Northern Uganda to provide education, training, and access to financial resources. They currently run three programs to reach various generations and walks of life: Youth Agricultural Education, Smallholder Farm Advancement, and Leadership Development.

Field of Hope shares many core values with Guardian, including integrity, partnership, and empowerment. I come from an agricultural background and have a deep appreciation for both the compassion and strength I have been taught. My beliefs are that agriculture can be used to facilitate growth on all scales, and provides the opportunity for individuals to take control of their own futures.

Camp Chisomo is a kids camp in Malawi, Africa, providing a place for kids to be kids; where they learn about God's grace and the power it gives to live with dignity in the present and hope for the future. Camp Chisomo provides children in the village biblical discipleship, life-skills training, age specific tutoring and engaging games and activities.

Staff at Camp Chisomo meet with guardians & families to ensure their family structure is consistent with the child's present and future. Staff also work with local leaders & authorities in schools and hospitals to improve the lives of children within the community.

While Camp Chisomo has been a decade in the making, their vision continues to grow to provide for the local community in Malawi.
