Meet the team

Bobbie Gilbreath

As Chief Operating Officer, I oversee the Guardian client experience, our contribution to our communities, and the development of our team. I am passionate about building connections and learning about people’s values. By understanding each person individually, I can act as a true advocate and better support those around me.

In my early twenties, I entered the financial services arena as a Wholesaler providing consulting to financial advisors on investment strategies for their clients. I later went on to run an advisor mentorship program where I opened satellite offices across the country. In this position I performed many activities which set me up for success; hiring, educating, and managing a diverse staff. Through my consulting experience, I was offered the opportunity to join, and be a part of my dream leadership team, with The Guardian Group.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve invested in relationships to align myself with mentorship opportunities and broaden my learning. The wisdom I’ve received from mentors and the pursuit of lifelong learning has given me a solid foundation. This platform now allows me to be a resource to my community and other people seeking real, tangible advice. Here at Guardian, we are educators and financial professionals who are passionate about helping others find and achieve their own version of financial success.

I value creativity, culture, and philanthropy. I am an active volunteer and support many organizations such as Latina Safehouse and ACE Scholarships in Denver. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and most recently spent a month solo in Bali, Indonesia. When I can, I love to explore food and the arts, which includes going to as many live music shows as I can fit in my schedule and trying new restaurants – especially seafood. Both personally and professionally I have fun exploring my passion for creativity and enjoy using fashion as a creative outlet. My best friend and big sister lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We spend a great deal of our time road-tripping to see each other or making a trek back to our hometown of Houston, Texas to spend time with our grandpa, whose name is also Bobby.

Getting to know Bobbie

Favorite food

For anyone that’s spent quality time with me, you definitely know how strong my love is for seafood – especially oysters (East Coast of course) and sushi! The more exotic and unique an eating experience I can find, the better!

Favorite quote

“The way you do anything is the way you do everything.”

What motivates you

I want to be someone that shows others you can accomplish anything you put your mind to, and that there are no limits to your growth. I’ve always felt motivated to work on myself every day. Change and adaptation to me means that I have new experiences ahead.

Favorite book

The Power of Small by Linda Kaplan Thaler. This book is full of stories of people who made little changes in their thinking, actions, or contributions in life. Some of these changes led to big wins or success in business.
